Andrew Pettey, RPT
A little about me:
Born in 1968, I grew up in the Fall River / Westport area. For a few years I worked on natural gas lines and as a result, developed carpal tunnel syndrome. During my recovery from surgery, I took an aptitude test and Piano Technology came out on top. Being a music lover and accustomed to working with my hands, it seemed a perfect match. I was referred to North Bennet Street School by Franz Mohr (Horowitz's piano technician). I completed my first year of training and received a scholarship to return for a second year to study Advanced Piano Technology. Just before graduating, I completed the testing required to become a Registered Piano Technician. In 2013 I added guitar repair to my services as well. I look forward to bringing your instruments up to their full potential.
Congratulations to our son Warren Pettey on receiving a Presidential Scholarship to Berklee College of Music for Fall 2017 and a 2021 Grammy nomination for Tony Succar's Live in Peru. Feel free to check out his discography or videos. |
